Bosch Compress 7000i AW — a practical overview

The Compress 7000i AW is an air-to-water solution whose control panel offers a lot of automation. If the room sensor and the outdoor-temperature curve both act too aggressively at once, swings and excess consumption result.

Room sensor and curve working together

We recommend keeping the room sensor's influence small and relying mainly on the curve. This keeps the flow temperature steady and lets the compressor run longer cycles.

Hot water and legionella cycle

The frequency and temperature of Legionella protection come from the manufacturer's manual and the cylinder type. Never switch it off; if the cycle seems too frequent, have an installer check it.

Frequently asked questions

What hot water temperature is reasonable?+

Typically 48–52 °C for daily use, with a scheduled higher cycle. We don't recommend keeping it below 45 °C for hygiene reasons.

Why does the room temperature fluctuate?+

Often the cause is two parallel control logics. We recommend reducing the room sensor's influence and observing for a week.
